The neighborhood is all a buzz! Seems our neighbor lady lost a pig on the way to the slaughterhouse. How does one lose a 400 lb. white pig you might ask. I did! There was a faulty latch and the pig escaped during transport. Some where along the road the latch came loose and the pig disappeared. I'm going with the idea that it was a great escape and that the pig had it planned from the very beginning. Pigs are smart that way!
Considering it is a white pig, a 400 lb. white pig, you would think it would be easy to find, but there are a lot of places for a pig to hide in Wisconsin. The temperatures were in the high 90's, assuming the pig survived the escape, I suspect the pig is lying low in a mud hole some place and is very happy. At least until supper time! It's a resourceful pig, so it will probably find plenty to eat in the wild.
If you see a 400 lb. white pig that looks lost...Drop me a comment!

Now that is one smart pig! Just imagine all that bacon :) ummm..love bacon!
ReplyDeleteI'm hopping over from the Glue Arts blog to answer the question you had about cutting the Clear Scraps Tag...I used my old and heavy duty guillotine cutter but you could also use a ruler and x-acto knife. Hope that help and I do hope you find your lost pig :)
Thanks Jan, I will give it a try. I am sure have one of those dangerous guillotine cutters around here somewhere. My husband always steals my x-acto knife and when it comes back it only because he runs out of blades. He doesn't re-fill the ice trays either! But I love him all the same.
ReplyDeleteThe pig was found! Thanks for checking.
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! I've never thought someone could lose a pig! How have you been? What's new and exciting your way??
